A creamy and delicious dessert, refined sugar-free and packed with nutrients.
Ingredients:
1 medium ripe avocado
1/2 cup 100% cocoa powder
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1/4 cup plant-based milk (almond, coconut, etc.)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and pulp.
- In a blender or food processor, add the avocado pulp, cocoa powder, honey (or syrup), plant-based milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the blender/processor if necessary to ensure everything is incorporated.
- Taste and adjust the sweetness if desired, adding more honey or syrup.
- Transfer the mousse to individual serving bowls or a large bowl.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set and chill. Serve chilled.
