Green Detox Smoothie

A refreshing and nutritious smoothie to start the day off right and detoxify your body.

Ingredients:

1 large kale leaf, stem removed
1/2 chopped green apple
1/2 chopped cucumber
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 small piece of ginger (about 2 cm), peeled
1 cup (200 ml) coconut water or filtered water
Ice to taste (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Wash the kale, apple, and cucumber thoroughly.
  2. In a blender, add the kale, apple, cucumber, lemon juice, ginger, and coconut water (or water).
  3. Blend until smooth and free of lumps.
  4. If desired, add ice and blend again.
  5. Serve immediately to maximize the nutrients.
