Ingredients:
2 tilapia fillets (about 150g each)
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Place the tilapia fillets on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice.
- Season the fillets with oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to taste.
- If desired, place a few lemon slices on top of the fillets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
- Serve immediately, accompanied by brown rice and steamed vegetables. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
