A refreshing and nutritious smoothie to start the day off right and detoxify your body.
Ingredients:
1 large kale leaf, stem removed
1/2 chopped green apple
1/2 chopped cucumber
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 small piece of ginger (about 2 cm), peeled
1 cup (200 ml) coconut water or filtered water
Ice to taste (optional)
Instructions:
- Wash the kale, apple, and cucumber thoroughly.
- In a blender, add the kale, apple, cucumber, lemon juice, ginger, and coconut water (or water).
- Blend until smooth and free of lumps.
- If desired, add ice and blend again.
- Serve immediately to maximize the nutrients.
